HYDRAULIC SHOVELS

Built to support critical hydraulic shovel systems

OVERVIEW

Boundary has been engineering, rebuilding, and improving hydraulic shovel components for more than four decades in demanding mining applications. We support Komatsu, Hitachi, and CAT/O&K hydraulic shovels with OEM-compatible components, rebuilds, and maintenance tooling across undercarriage, cylinders, swing, propel, and drive systems.

What sets Boundary apart is the engineering history behind the parts: decades of rebuild data, field inspection, wear analysis, and performance feedback. Our components are refined around how hydraulic shovels actually wear, fail, and get maintained. Helping maintenance and reliability teams improve fit, service life, and uptime.

  • UNDERCARRIAGE

Undercarriage components engineered for OEM-compatible fit and long wear life. Includes manganese steel track shoes, rollers, front idlers, drive tumblers, and pin retention systems. With designs informed by rebuild history and field performance.

  • HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS

New and rebuilt hydraulic cylinders, backed by large-cylinder manufacturing and rebuild experience since 1980. From boom and stick to bucket and clam cylinders, our work is shaped by careful material selection and assembly standards developed through years of rebuilding large mining cylinders.

  • GEARCASES & TRANSMISSIONS

Gearcases, transmissions, pump drives, and new ZF gearbox supply, backed by rebuild experience dating to 1965. We support swing, propel, and pump drive systems with rebuilt units and new supply, drawing on decades of gearbox work in mining to deliver longer service life in the field.

  • MAINTENANCE & ACCESS SOLUTIONS

Maintenance and access solutions designed to make shovel work safer and easier. From track pin pullers and pump removal tools to emergency access ladders, these products help crews reduce handling risk, improve control during maintenance, and support safer access on the machine.

  • FIELD SUPPORT

Support doesn’t end when the component is installed. Boundary works with customers in the field to help monitor performance, address issues early, and support the component through service. That field involvement, combined with rebuild history and wear feedback, helps us refine components, improve serviceability, and support better outcomes on the machine.
