commitment to quality

Boundary parts are built to perform under the extreme demands of mining. Quality is built into everything we do, from engineering and manufacturing to inspection and support.

A RELIABLE OEM ALTERNATIVE

Our process starts with understanding the application: how the part fits, where it wears, how it carries load, and what failure can cost in the field. From there, our teams apply engineering experience, controlled sourcing, modern inspection tools, and customer feedback to support parts that perform where it matters most.

ENGINEERED AND VERIFIED

Quality starts before production. Boundary uses engineering review, reverse engineering, dimensional inspection, material verification, and supplier documentation to help ensure critical components meet the requirements of the application.

Across Boundary and the Boundary Mining Group, our quality and manufacturing capabilities are supported by tools, certifications and systems such as ISOs, CMMs, GMMs, FARO arms, 3D scanning, onboard machine inspection, KISSsoft/KISSsys gear software, QMS platforms, KPI dashboards, and NCR workflows.

CONTROLLED SOURCING

A quality part depends on quality inputs. Boundary works with approved vendors and qualified manufacturing partners, including specialized suppliers for processes such as heat treatment, material processing, testing, and inspection.

Suppliers are reviewed before becoming part of our approved supply chain, helping ensure that critical work is completed by partners who understand the demands of heavy mining components.

INSPECTION, DOCUMENTATION, AND ACCOUNTABILITY

Dedicated quality personnel support inspection, review, documentation, and continuous improvement. Where required, third-party specialists may also be used for material analysis, heat-treatment review, destructive testing, failure investigation, or independent inspection.

BUILT TO IMPROVE

Quality does not end when a part leaves our facility.

Boundary uses customer feedback, internal non-conformance reporting, supplier review, warranty review, and corrective/preventive action processes to identify improvements. When an issue is found, it is reviewed, documented, and used to strengthen future work.

Reliable parts start with a reliable process - and that process continues to evolve through better equipment, better systems, better documentation, and people who understand mining.
